The Down Under Foods business, based in Mesa, Arizona, is run by Steve, Rhonda, and Amy Collins. Steve, a widely-experienced and respected Australian entrepreneur is now a dual US citizen, and has lived in the United States since 2009. His American wife, Rhonda, is an exceptional elementary school teacher who has taught both at home and in Australia and became a Dual citizen while living there in 2007. Their daughter, Amy, is a qualified cultural anthropologist, and relocated from Australia to the United States in 2014 to develop the Down Under Foods’ business from ground up. Rounding out the “Collins Pack” are their three lovable Labradors, Indy Norman, Hurley Bob and Zoey (AKA as “Miss ZoZo Bear”).
Down Under Foods expects to create significant new American jobs in coming years, both direct and induced, as it rolls out additional food trucks and in so doing to genuinely focus on inserting itself into local communities. Our principals have a long history of dealing with charitable causes in the US and Australia and anticipate doing that again as the business grows.
Rhonda Collins, B Sc:
Rhonda is a gifted elementary school teacher who has taught class in Oklahoma, Arizona and Sydney, Australia and was responsible for securing substantial grant funding in Oklahoma City in 2009-10 to establish “state of the art” science laboratories for 4th and 5th grade students. She is a graduate of the University of Science and Arts in Oklahoma (Cum Laude) and has fused her teaching career with wider business activities including accounting employment and was instrumental in developing a highly successful mortgage broking in Sydney. Rhonda’s entrepreneurial skills and drive have been instrumental in the success of Down Under Foods from start-up and she is continuing to develop business via our donation and charity initiatives (dog rescue and in support of elementary education).

Amy’s work background in Australia included supervisory retail (Coles Supermarkets) and office management. Amy has been visiting the US since 1998 and is well qualified to understand and communicate the cultural differences between it and Australia. Her skill set, and business experiences are of significant benefit as Down Under Foods develops its markets.
