Down Under Foods brews and serves gourmet coffees (roasted to our own blend), and offers cold brews, hot chocolates, hot and cold teas, infused waters and traditional Aussie sodas. Our sweet and savory artisan-crafted food includes uniquely Australian products that are perfectly matched with our drink offerings. We use FDA approved “bush tucker” ingredients imported from Australia in some of our baked goods; for example, lemon myrtle, wattle seed and quandong among others.

We are members of the Food Truck Feeds, RAD Food Trucks and Food Truck Familia coalitions and are an approved vendor at Mesa Public Schools. We’re licensed in Mesa, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Tempe, Phoenix and Chandler and we are a proud member of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce). We’re a family run, majority women-owned business and we have a lot of fun (where else would you find a banker, a teacher, and a cultural anthropologist working alongside each other?!).

Our first food truck is named in honor of the first Labrador puppy named Ozzy. With his sister Miss Harriet, and his brother Pete, also Labradors, Ozzy left Sydney, Australia with us in 2009 and landed in the United States where we have made our new home. All three have sadly passed from our lives, but not our hearts, and we have rescued three Labradors in the years since; Indy, Hurley and Miss Zo Zo. As a business, and a family, we view dog rescue as critically important and since our food truck commenced operations at the start of 2016, we have donated nearly $4,000 to selected rescue groups. We have been pleased to support the following organizations: Arizona Labrador & Giant Breed Rescue, Panacea Animal Wellness Sanctuary, and Underdog Rescue of Arizona.

Giving hope to our food truck customers, and potential customers, all three of our “rescues” are American and they got used to our accents pretty quickly! Drop by and have some fun, even if you are not quite sure what we’ve said!

Our food truck is conspicuous by its distinctly Australian theme and works its way around the east valley of Phoenix. Please connect with us so that you can stay in tune with our activities:
